This paper demonstrates solid research effort and a clear structure, but it does not adequately meet the assignment objectives. The core requirement was to define and analyze specific archetypes of coercive control, and this was not done. The paper instead misapplies the term “archetype” to general patterns of abuse and narrative progression. The mention of Jung’s “shadow” is a misunderstanding of Jungian theory, as the shadow is not a true archetype. Without identifying actual archetypal figures, the paper misses the central analytical focus of the project. Additionally, the writing quality is uneven, with awkward phrasing and formatting issues. The recommendations section mostly summarizes existing policy without critical insight. Overall, this work shows research effort but does not fulfill the core expectations of the assignment.
