In 2019, RBC Future Launch and Riipen launched a partnership with the goal of increasing access to high-impact work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for Canadian post-secondary students Our shared mission: to help prepare learners, particularly those from underserved communities, for the Future of Work. By the end of 2022, the RBC-Riipen partnership has delivered over 27,000 online WIL experiences, to a wide diversity of learners and educational partners across Canada with the potential of delivering over 250,000 by 2026.

Marketing Strategies for Non Profit Organizations Winter 2025

Students will apply marketing concepts learned in class for non profit organizations. It is imperative that these strategies be realistic and workable taking into account the challenges faced by the nonprofit. In order to do this, students would need to do a situational analysis of the organization using primary and secondary research that will be reflected in their reports and presentations.
Capstone Project Business Analytics (Section21) - Winter 2025
This Capstone Project provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate competency on the key concepts of business analytics. Students will integrate knowledge gained throughout the program - including leadership and management principals, analytical skills, data visualization, data mining, and statistics – to complete the capstone project. By taking this course, students will be guided through the process of developing their soft (communications) and hard (Technical) skills while delivering a business analytics project to support decision making in organizations. The emphasis will be on the application of methodologies and analytical tools to solve real-world problems in R&D, marketing, supply chain, healthcare, finance and/or other disciplines.

This experience is designed for learners who have explored the multifaceted world of integrated marketing communications (IMC). Participants will have the capability to apply their understanding of advertising, sales promotions, public relations, and personal selling to real-world projects. By engaging with industry professionals, learners will develop and execute promotional strategies that align with organizational goals. This experience will enable learners to translate classroom knowledge into practical applications, enhancing their skills in strategic planning, media evaluation, and effectiveness measurement.

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from NAIT to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program/experience will have the knowledge and skills to manage projects in fast-changing environments. Students will be able to apply agile philosophy/methodology in different industries/domains including, but not limited to, technology, product development/improvement, sales and marketing, manufacturing etc. The course will provide hands-on experience to apply the agile principles, methodologies, frameworks, techniques, and tools to manage the projects.

Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course study and employ practical and theoretical concepts obtained in first year systems analysis and design courses by building an IT system. They will work as part of a development team on an IT problem for an external industry client. Their project will include the production and demonstration of functioning components of the system each release within deadlines set out in their project management documentation
