Details

We are asking our research assistant(s) to help us in developing a guides for recruitment, onboarding and performance management. These guides will be used to assist in developing a baseline for how we approach finding employees and contractors for future projects in developing our small business, and making sure that we provide positive experiences for them.


In addition, RA(s) will present their guides and how to use these guides they have developed

Deliverables

The research assistant will be expect to provide a presentation that explains the best employment practices for the business, specifically presenting on 3 major aspects.

  • Onboarding processes
  • Performance management and Recognition


Mentorship
Hands-on support

Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.

Regular meetings

Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.

+1 Creative Studios is a small business created and run by an artistic couple (Mateus and Mel); who themselves are gamers and geeks. Our goal is to make designs that help our fellow nerdy humans express themselves, their values, and their hobbies via visual mediums. This means we make the designs ourselves, and have them printed onto merch such as stickers, enamel pins, clothes; mugs and other items.

As Artists, we value creativity, curiosity, and respect for humanity above all else. To us, this means all of our designs are made by us, and without replacing any part of the creative process by using AI tools. Our organization is about providing for people first. This means that if there are any products or projects we can't make; then we look to hire or outsource and collaborate with real people who have the skills we are searching for.
